How to make my blue eyes stand out WITHOUT brown eyeshadow?

I have medium size blue eyes, and I really want to make them look bigger and to make them stand out.

I've read that brown eyeshadow makes them stand out, but I tried it %26amp; I don't like how it looks on me.

What other colors can I use? I usually use black eyeliner %26amp; mascara, if that makes any difference. I also have light brown hair and light (but not fair) skin. How to make my blue eyes stand out WITHOUT brown eyeshadow?
Okaaay,

well have you ever heard of Cover Girl's Exact Eyelights?

use that ( for blue eyes) since there is otehr ones; like green eyes/brown eyes ..

and use a light beige eyeshadow, high enough up your eyelids. But use a light brown, that you can hardly notice, for your lower eyelids .

goood luckk :)How to make my blue eyes stand out WITHOUT brown eyeshadow?
i have blue eyes too and what i find really makes my eyes look beautiful is using dark brown eyeliner (covergirl) on the top and bottom of my eyelashes, then on top of it i use Victoria's Secret Luminous Shadow in glow nude (its not brown it almost looks white) and then on my brow bone i use L'Oreal Crystal Infinite eye shadow in crystal bronze- you dont have to use this if you dont like the look. And i just blend it with the eyeshadow. Then, i finish off with Clinique lash power mascara in black onyx. You dont have to use clinique but i would always use black it makes your eyes look gorgeous. I hope this helps!!!!

ohhh and btw i love the clinique mascara it comes off with warm water and it really extendes my lashes, almost like i have false ones on. it doesnt come off when you cry or swim just when you put warm water to your eyes.
Brown does work the best but since you don't want that try using a pale pink or maybe a darker green.... or best a brownish gold! (non simmery)

or try dressing in colors that make your eyes POP! Mainly blue shirts help the most. though when ppl with your skin and hair color wear brown that usaully makes eyes the color stand out more and make your eyes bigger (it's shocking but true)

but don't use Blues on your eyes. It makes your eyes seem smaller and not as big.

Also that brown eyeshadow. use a light brown and not a dark. and simmers don't help. So maybe u should grab a new color brown and try again!

.
My mother always told me just to wear blue and green. It worked quite well for me as I have blond hair and aqua colored eyes.

Suggestions:

If your into Hollister or Abercrombie, you could buy an adorable jacket from there in blue or green.

When you wear blue or green, wear a headband the same color.

Depending on your eye color, wear an i shadow contrasting it. Light blue eyes- dark blue or green eye shadow. Dark blue eyes- light blue or green eyeshadow.

Try those things out and let me know how it works out!

~Heather
I use black mascara too, but since you already wear it, it probably won't make a huge difference.

I've found the color of your clothing can sometimes really bring out your eyes.

I wore a light blue t-shirt the other day and was told by various people my eyes stood out.
turquoise sparkly eyeshadow works

also so does light green sparkly eyeshadow
Use brown eyeliner and brown mascara.

If you want your eyes to look bigger, use white and silver eyeliner.
I don't know it kind of depends on what your working with but I think you'd look nice with baby blue or pink.
magnifying glass.
use poop.

What colour of eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes that turn colours?

Blue Eyes work best with Oranges, Pinks %26amp; Purples

Blue eyes are so much fun to work with, because the general rule is to not overload on like colors. You'll want to steer clear of most tones of blue, however some more vibrant blue based colors can look great, For instance, on very light blue eyes, a turquoise eyeliner can look really funky. For a pretty, natural look, blue eyes look best with orange toned eye shadows. If you're a fair blue eyed gal, try bright yellows, and shades of beige. For a funky night time look, go with rust reds, and deep purples.

Remember that the choice varies from person to person so play around and see what works best for you.

I hope that this helps. What colour of eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes that turn colours?
Billious green. What colour of eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes that turn colours?
natural colors like browns, and meatallics, colors often make blue eye look unflattering.
brown.
i have blue eyes and i like brown or a light purple. Brown makes blue eyes pop.
Blue eyeshadow is a bad idea.I have blue eyes too.I go with light pinks and browns with a shimmer. But it depends on your skin tone.No matter what your skin tone is do not go with blue.
UM LIGHT PINK OR LIGHT COLOR
I would say a light pink and brown would look very pretty!
By changing colors I am assuming you mean that your eyes are a mix of two colors (probably blue and green) and that depending on what you wear they look different colors.

If you're trying to bring out the blue then I would go with either peachy or brown colors. The blue color will stand out more with those colors.
i think ... lilac pink or base colours .. n aftr u do so add a lil shimmer !! i thnk ul luk awesum ... use a gel mascara n steel-aluminium type eyeliner (liquid/ not pencil) this combination will makeyaa nothng less than a NE HOLLY ACTRESS !! trust me.... try it once with a soft colour lipgloss n blush ur cheek bone with lite brown rouge n shimmer !! !!!!!!!
i say either a smokey gray or brown :)
I'd say metallic colours, especially silver. My big sister has blue eyes and when she wears silver it really sets her eyes off.
Brown makes blue eyes pop. Also try gray, purples, blues.

What color eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes and dark brown hair?

black eyeliner to bring out the blue

look at megan fox pictures and photos cause she has the same comboWhat color eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes and dark brown hair?
I wear browns and golds with the ocassional splash of blue round the edges of my eyes, either outer or inner. Only eyeliner on the lids of my eyes. xWhat color eyeshadow goes best with blue eyes and dark brown hair?
To make the blue eyes pop:

on your lid put a bronze eyeshadow

then on the crease put a dark brown

on your top lashline put a chocolate-y colored eyeliner

:)
golds and browns and aslo neutral colors that can match your skin
dark-ish blue eye liner, or light blue eye shaddow
Browns look awesome with blue eyes or grays =]

What eyeshadow colour suits someone with blue eyes?

I also have slightly pale skin...

So which colour would you recommend? What eyeshadow colour suits someone with blue eyes?
silver. its very in right now (winter) and looks good w/ blue eyes. if ur not comfortable w/ a really glitzy silver get a gray, it looks silver on. smokey eyes r in 2 and i like dark silver 4 me. (i have blue eyes) on me brown looks kinda funny and so does pink for some reason, i think its coz im really pale...What eyeshadow colour suits someone with blue eyes?
brown, the color of ****
You can anywhere in the brown/chocolate family. You can also try raisin colors.
brown eyeliner

with golden eye shadows with dark brown accents

or sometimes light pinks or blues can look good too
For Blue Eyes:

1. Tried and True: taupe, gray, violet, purple, deep blue (a darker shade than your eye color makes your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)

2. Funky Favorites: silver, turquoise, fuschia (brightens any shade of blue)

Hope that helped. xx
brown and black go great..

stay away from blue eyeshadow that matches your eye color...

it should either be a very light or very dark blue
:O sounds so much like me

anyways

i use any colour really.

light pinks an blues

whites

light yellow

brown

green silver

near enough anything :)
I am exactly like you. I have bright blue eyes with kinda pale skin. What I found works best is a very light silver color spread from the lash to the brow. Then a very, very light blue across the whole lid. Then, apply a normal blue just along the lash line. After that use a navy blue color also along the lash line but, only on the outer half.

This is an image of the colors that I get. It works great!

http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.asp?pf鈥?/a>

Also, if you do the exact thing with the Cocoa Glow colors, it also looks very pretty.

Here is a picture of how to put the eyeshadow. The colors wont look exactly like this since I don't have some kind of super software for picture like that.

brown
I have white eyes, but are technically blue so:

brown! Almay actually makes a whole line for this. I do brown shadow, brown liner, and black mascara. (I don't use the Almay though, I'm allergic to makeup except cartain kinds.)

Also, to make blue eyes pop more, wear pink! It works and looks amazing. I really hope this helps! (:

  • Do you think blue or green eyeshadow should be illegal ?

A make-up artist added ';you should never wear a make-up shade that you can't find somewhere on your skin - other colours are just ';distracting'; from your own beauty';.

Do you think we should notice the colour of your eyes and not the shade of your eyeshadow or do you think make-up should be fun and a way to express yourself like an artist ?Do you think blue or green eyeshadow should be illegal ?
it should be fun and a way to express yourself, I like to watch clowns at the circus.Do you think blue or green eyeshadow should be illegal ?
i think that its ok, if you use it in the right time/way if you wear it like a bright green dark and bold gross go home this isnt a beauty pagent but if its a subtile color and they pull it off and pull out their eyes, more power to them i personally dont wear eyeshadow for this reason
NO! I love those colors! If someone doesn't want to wear those colors, then that's up to them. But other people might like to wear them. It's just like wearing red and yellow together. They don't match, but some people like to mix things up!

    鈾?xoxo
all colours are fun. its a matter of how you wear it. some blues look so so bad and the wrong green will make a person look like a zombie. green eyeshadow looks good on green eyes and blue, well, its good for halloween.
are you for real!! no it shoulnt be illegal!!
people have blue and green eyes though
blue...............definetly blue. green works on some eyes (such as hazel) but blue doesn't really go on any
Great question - it's really both - other colors can be distracting if not balanced well as with any picture however, vibrant colors can be very playful and fun and can truly enhance oneself in a very creative way

the illegal part actually raises some questions because certain types of colorant dyes are illegal in Australia that are legal here - the less natural bright sky blue looks, the harsher the chemicals used to get to that color so that part I definitely agree with distracting from one's beauty - that has got me looking into micas and how it's all made

It's more about the way the color is processed than the ';color'; - real ocean blues, coastal water greens - it would be nice for all manufacturers to keep nature and its safety in mind when trying to reproduce it and make available for us to play with, hisorically the more expensive brands have been more aligned with nature - it really demands a lot of research
I think blue eye shadow is just sooo horrible. But green eye shadow used sparingly just in the crease of your lids or something to bring out the green in your eyes is fine.

I honestly only wear neutral colors, mostly just browns and beiges. I don't like bright eye shadows and bizzar colors I personally think its a little too much. Unless it's for a special event, but not for everyday wear.

Just my opinion. I think we should notice the color of your eyes which is enhancing your beauty, not the shade of your eye shadow.
no, personally if somone eants to look unique like that by all means continue
Oh god no, there is something strangely attractive about a girl when she plasters on the blue eyeshadow. The darker the better, the more the merrier.
The only colors really besides tans/browns/blacks/greys that I would reccomend for anyone is peachy-tan or that smokey brown/burgendy/purple color. Blue and green are just silly, and should not be used unless for crazy fashion shows or halloween.
    no
using shadow to accentuate the color of ones eyes is perfectly acceptable, layering it on with a spatula so you have to do workouts with your eyelids in order to blink is another. Shadow should enhance, not be the focus of your face. I've seen green eyeshadow on darker skin that looks amazing! Green eyeshadow on me would make me look like I had indigestion of the eyeball...it's all in the wearer!
No.Both colors are nice it just depends on how you apply it and if it compliments your skin tone.
I think all should be personally thank you
Wow. What a retard. I can't believe that make-up artist said that. They should rip artist out of his title. Anything color can be worn as long as it it tastefully and minimally done.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion, make-up should be fun, a little experiment now and then wouldn't end in cold war, but just don't go over board, as the saying goes, less is more, and it's always right.....
i think its the persons choice. I myself am a eye makeup fanatic. All the attention goes directly to my eyes and i love it.

i love who i am even without eye-make up but its a way of expressing myself.
I don't necessarily agree i think the blue and green are great colors. And i'm not trying to offend anyone but too it depends on the your skin color..If your very pale then you should know to stick with the light colors
I love blue eye shadow! It's not like I wear it to work or anything, but it's fun to do something different with your make up when you go out. I think that once you get passed a certain age you can't pull off those colors anymore.
Depends what you want to do - do you want to enhance your eyes or decorate your eyes?

Subtle, naturally toned makeup can look lovely. But I personally see my skin as a canvas - makeup should be FUN, it's a great way of expressing your mood.

I wear a violent shade of metallic green eyeshadow most days - blended with black at the outer corners to ';sculpt'; my eyelids, with tons of black eyeliner for a really dramatic look.

And you know what? The bright green eyshadow lifts my blue-grey eyes right out of the grey tones into bue. It makes my eyes look bluer! So whatever makeup artist said you shouldn't wear blue or green is an idiot.
I personally do not like blue shadow but I think some people really look great in it. I think as long as it is applied well anyone can wear anything. make-up is about having fun too!!!
umm i like browns and they bring out my eyes so i think thats a crappy make up artist. people look like clowns with a million different colors
Make-up is not about looking clown like. Its about highlighting you best features without going overboard, less is often better, highlight your lips with bold vibrant colours or soft subtle tones depending on your complexion and lip size, as for eyes there are ways to accent these without wearing bright blue green eye shadows there are a lot of subtle blue shades out there like icy blue precision glimmer by Avon. I don't normally wear eyeshadow but i love this and is perfect just on eyelid not painted on all over eye area i use it with steel smoke glimmer stick it makes my blue-green eyes sparkle.
eye shadow is meant 2 enhance the colour of your eyes! lol! and you're meant to wear colour opposites! i mean if you have brown eyes you should wear blue eye shadow! hope this helped!
Personally im against all types of makeup and i know many girls that look much more beautiful withOUT makeup but they dont believe me soooo....yeah make them illegal.haha
no not at all, it just depends on how you wear it. also people have blue and green in their eyes! if you wear the same color of eyeliner on your top lid as your eye, it enhances it amd makes it look really cute. true if you over do it to make yourself look like a hooker yes it should be illegal, but if you do it subtly then it works. here is a pic of what im talking about
There is nothing worse than a make up artist that says that you should never do this.....never wear this....never pluck there....rubbish!

Make up by its very nature is something you can wash of in less than a minute. It's something fun and creative, if you want to wear brown eyeshadow and clear lipgloss constantly then fine, but let me guess, you probably wear black pants every day too?

I guess it depends on your confidence and your face; some people can carry of colour, some people can. I love colour and I think it suits me - I wear neutrals if I have something like a job interview.

I think Bobbi Brown is one of the artists who sticks to neutrals - I have all her books, and her ideas are fine but i can't believe that a talented artist like her things that things like ';coloured mascara should be banned.'; I think it shows the limits of her thinking, and creativity. Francois Nars, Kevyn Aucoin, Pat McGrath - these are artist with real flair and embrace all types of colours and techniques, and their work is so much more interesting.
Express how ever you want. Some make-up artists are boring.
no i think you should wear any color! blue and green eyeshadow is hot

What eyeshadow is nice with blue eyes?

I have dark brown hair %26amp; blue eyes. What colour of eyeshadow would suit me best %26amp; make my eyes stand out more? What eyeshadow is nice with blue eyes?
yay! ok..Pinks...Purples....DARK BROWNS! And very pretty greens...but not forest or dark greens at all..What eyeshadow is nice with blue eyes?
What you can do to make your eyes really stand out is, put a thin line of vibrant blue, same color as your eyes, right next to your lid. Then you can take a dark purple or brown and put it on your lid and the crease of your eye. Then take a little white sparkling or shimmering shadow and put it right in the curve of your eye, closest to your nose. You can also play it up with shimmery pinks!
white eyeliner only in the middle..

then a thin line of black eyeliner.

also check out the brand almay,

they have eyeshadow sets for eye colors. they have a blue set..its for blue eyes..

i am not sure what colors are in it though. i know they had professionals pick them out.

    but i would suggest..like maybe a blue color..or maybe a brown.

    hope i helped
Depends also on the sin tone. Pale skin (Like mine) goes awsome with pinks and some pastels. Brown is also good, but a little boring. Don't go for bright blues. TEals are okay, I guess. You don't really need eyeliner, since it'd be too harsh on your eyes.
try heavy masacara, dark at the edges and highlight in the middle with a bit of grey.

dont go to heavy in blusher or lipstick stick to plae colurs on rest of face
Try a really light pink, purple, or even a blue. You can really go with anything with that color eyes. Try even putting eye liner on the outside of your eye, but really thin dont make it too thick.. good luck
According to the color wheel, you should wear PEACHY tones. Antique golds, shimmer and mattes (MAC has alot of gorgeous peachy colors!). The peachy eyeshadows will bring out the blue in your eyes.
i usually put on a white sparkly colour maybe a silver or a blue or pale pink and i usually finish it off with some black eyeliner
Purple!, if you want ur eyes to pop out more do a lite brown then under ur eyebrows do a lil liter brown and that will make them pop

if not: do darker but not too dark or you look weird... or try a greenish black
i have blue eyes 2 i usually use nice gold colours or a nice calmer pink or a nice blue tone.
    smoky eyes r the best

4 blu, green or light coloured eyes
Purple! That's what they said at the Mary Kay convention.
I think silver or black would look perfect!
    smokey eyes are super hot
    purple

What color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?

Like really really blue eyes. I usually use grey but it's getting old...What color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?
BrownWhat color eyeshadow brings out blue eyes?
Browns, which are also flattering on most skin tones.

A lot of the make up, such as Almay, that have colors specific for the eye color you have, do not take into consideration the skin color. Blue eyes tend to go with fair skin with pink undertones. Blue and pinks do not look good with that skin

The color I think makes my eyes stand out and I get the most compliments on is Bare Essentials shadow called Drama. It's a beautiful sparkly brown with a hint of grey and purple. It looks nice dressing up or casual, and on all skin types.
Almay intense i-color trio. They have colors together for specific eye colors. For blue eyes you'd wear other blues or browns.

    http://images.almay.com/AlmaySiteImages/collections/a_collections_224_5.jpg

I use the one for green eyes. It really is great.
    Purples

    Lavender

    Browns

    golds

    beige

    pearly shimmers

    smokey grey's

    black

black liquid eyeliner on the upper lashline with gold glitter on the lower lashline makes my blue eyes pop!
Dark purple adds a little bit of darker brown. You cant go no wrong. Go easy with the lips. You want to enhance your eyes color without overdoing the whole face.
i think it's browns and shades of purple...
Browns..Warm Plums..Pale Golds..Corals...all bring out blue eyes very well.
    pink or gold

What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?

As far as earthtones go, do lighter or darker color eyeshadows better compliment light blue eyes and fair skin?

Does skin color matter when choosing an eye shadow color?

If so, what about light blue eyes and tan skin?

What do you think about unnatural colors like blues, pinks and and purples?

Also, what about white for eyeshadow?

I really need the advice! Thanks so much in advance!!What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?
There's a cool site where you can try on different makeup colors and styles on your own photo. taaz.com You can also try on hairstyles and colors. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!What color eyeshadow looks best with light blue eyes?
I always think dark warm browns look great with blue eyes, but also navy blue and dark purples. If you have tan skin then maybe golds. Definitley not black, it will appear really harsh against you light eyes. White can look good on some people, but on most it looks best just below your eyebrow and in the inside of the corners of your eyes.
Tried and True Colors for Blue Eyes ~~~ Taupe, Grays, Violet, Purples, Deep Blue (Use a darker shade than your eye color to make your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)

My Funky Favorites ~~~ Silver, Turquoise, Fuschia (brightens any shade of blue).

Try a Navy or a Charcoal base to define Your Eyes and a Powder Bblue shadow at your Brow for highlighting~~~it brightens your brow bone so ANY eye color pops.
I think if eyeshadow is put on correctly it will look good on any skin tone or eye color. I think gold would really compliment light blue eyes and tan skin.

I have light blue eyes and the best eyeshadow is brown. It hightlights your eyes. You never want to use the same color eyeshadow as your eye but the total opposite. so Brown is great! Hope this helps.
I go with black.. its all smoky and sexy. And it makes your eyes stand out.
purple, light brown, light grey and black.
i would say go with black.

What color eyeshadow looks good for blue eyes?

I also have blue/green eyes, and I tend to use a shimmery brown/beige eyeshadow. It really makes your eyes ';pop'; and stand out, whereas if you choose a blue, it can often make you look clownish if applied inappropriately or in the incorrect shade (I tend to try to stay away from blue eyeshadow . . . ). Try Maybelline's three pack eyeshadows -- they come with three shades that go well together for a liner, crease, and below the eyebrows. I tend to use a light, light beige (almost white) for right beneath my eyebrows, on the brow bone, followed by a shimmery, light beige below the brown bone and above the crease of my eyelid, and then a darker shimmery brown for below the crease and up to the eyelashes.

Your eyes should look great! Good luck -- I hope this helps you! =DWhat color eyeshadow looks good for blue eyes?
The opposite color.. so brown. Should really make your eyes pop! What color eyeshadow looks good for blue eyes?
    brown or purple

edit- or use the smokey eye start black and work your way to a light grey. (also works in brown)
sliver eyeshadow will look great with blue eyes
    purple!
For an evening looks sparkly lilac, smoky grey or browns depending on what you are wearing

daytime or casual I would tend to go with the pinks you could even wear a light, light lilac
    here you go

go here and you'll be on your way
    light pink and some greens
Browns and burgundys. Since you have blue eyes, you are most likely cool toned, so I would stay away from golds and bronzey shades.
I would say either a lighter blue than your eyes or a nice green that can really bring out the color of your eyes...
Brown or orange-red. You want to use colors opposite blue on the color wheel to make your eyes pop. Try a light brown shadow all over the lid and a dark brown in the crease. Do black eyeliner on your upper lids, and a blue liner on the outer portion of the lower lids. This is a GORGEOUS look for blue eyes, especially if you have medium-large eyes.
Light blue or silver... Or like a light purple..
if ya have blue eyes???...browns and reddish browns...smoky colors...like grey...
    brown and green.
Well green and like smokey colors like salmon and grey
The best color is Blue it will make your blue eyes pop even more. Brown looks good on every color eye but blue doesn't look good on every one. So try a Blue shadow.
Bare essencials has an eyeshadow that is called Tortoise. It's like a dark grey with flecks of green and blue. It looks great on blue eyes. You can use it as a shadow or liner.

    Good luck.
OOO plum and burgundy are fun on blue eyes for a casual look brown and pink paired together are absolutely beautiful!
nice brown shimmers and gold shimmers blend
You can certainly wear blue as it is back in style, but a blue grey, sort of slate, is going to go well. Actually with blue eyes you have a pretty good range of colors. I don't think you should wear green, but brown would go well, a darker brown, not a light brown, as that would get lost. You want a color that is going to enhance your eye color.
    light blue
Your neutrals work like brown but be creative metallics are huge this season so try copper and gold, it looks great especially when you use these colours instead of black to create the smokey effect.
blue, brown, white, almost any color would look good
The object is to make your eyes pop, right? So, I would use browns, pinks, and greens.
    blue light dark green golden
lyke a pinkish redish i hav blueyez myself i put eye line mascara then a wite r red r pink eye shadow...i think lighter is better
wear dark eyeliner to illuminate your eyes or wear eyeshadow that matches your outfit
A light, glittery blue or a light, glittery gray.
I have blue eyes and they pop in red liner. If you can't find red then use a brown eyeliner and go over it in red blush. Also don't use blue. Pinks, greens (think minty), and light purples shadow over silver eyeliner is cool. I love the new neutrogena shimmer mineral shadows that are out now. Copper is good but in moderation. I just went makeup shopping and I forget my colors sometimes. umm. I do light browns or light purple for the day and do shimmery black and grey for nighttime. But you need to try out these colors for yourself cheap. In case they're not for you. Experiment with wet-n-wild eye colors for now, then when you get an idea of what you like, go for the bigger priced shadows, they really are worth the price.
First of allLOL, you go girl LOL, you shall always remain beaLOLutiful with green and brown, trust me LOLI know,LOL when I gLOLo to bars and stuffLOL, the guys LOLare sureLOL to stop and stare, at either a blue eyed guy LOLlike mLOLe, or a blue eyedLOL gal like you. Does blue eyeshadow ever work?

Blue eyeliner? Blue eyeshadow? A past faux pas but does it work now? And if so on who?Does blue eyeshadow ever work?
I wear CoverGirl's liquid blue eyeshadow...it's a baby blue color and you can apply it lightly, or heavily, depending on the effect you want. I usually apply it very lightly...i think it looks great, especially because it's summertime.Does blue eyeshadow ever work?
it can work - if you wear it with a dark or light grey eyeshadow...

i do my eyes with a light grey/silver in the inside corner, then a NICE blue in the middle (not a bright as clown blue!) then i do the outside corners of my eye in a dark grey/silver, almost Black colour... and it always turns out great..... (and no this isnt a 'dark gothic' make up look, its a nightime look, but nothing near gothic)

Hope that helps you babe :)
it can look nice on people with blue eyes and blone hair but thats it
Well, personally, it looks fab on me! For a little makeover, I apply (black) mascara, then shimmering dark blue eyeshadow at the corners to make my eyes appear a bit closer together- they're a tiny bit too far apart for my taste- and finally some shimmering sky blue eyeshadow on the rest of my top eyelid. And last, some black eyeliner, underlining the bottom of my eyes to make them pop! Et voil脿! Stunning look for a walk out! ;)
Heck yeah. I put on my black eyeliner and then i put a line of blue the same size (both thin) I like the frosted light blue. The effect is awesome.
    only in the 80's
I think blue shadow works if it's done subtley. In other words, a cool blue shadow would look good on teenagers and women in their twenties. It shouldn't be used by older women because it has an aging effect.

It doesn't have to be opaque- it can just be a swipe of sheer blue shadow on the lids and some dark blue liner. I think you could get away with it if you use a neutral lipstick in beige.

Also, it looks better on darker skinned people.
all i can say is ya don't wanna look like the chick from Drew Carry
i think so... it looks nice on SOME people.
    Only on Hallowe'en!
Not for me or any other person Ive ever seen it on.

  • What color eyeshadow helps make blue AND green stand out?

my eyes change color from a bright blue to a blueish-green constantly...

What color eyeshadow goes with both?

Links are best!!!What color eyeshadow helps make blue AND green stand out?
Well, It's not necessarily the color of your eyes, but the size and shape of your eye, and style that use to shade the eyelids. I prefer a mixture of a medium to dark brown shaded with light pink or tan colors on the upper lid. (Example is Cafe Au Lait #105 from Covergirl: Looks great on everyone!! ( http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=eye_enhancers_3_kit_shadows)

More importantly though, if you have small eyes you want to stray away from dark colors, as they tend to make you eyes look smaller, A dark color in the crease of you lid and a lighter color on the lid itself would be the best way to go. I wouldn't try experimenting with exotic colors until you had the technique down, or else you could end up looking like a circuis freak or MiMi from the Drew Carey show! :o)

I highly recommend the cover girl products, but I am not opposed to less expensive brands. Shimmer makeup tends to blend better, and ';pop'; much more. So, using Wet N' Wild or NYC is not below me. :o)

Hope that helps! Natural colors are really the best way unless your are punk rock or goth, then I suggest a deep black and red combination, but make sure to match your clothes! (Red eye shadow will never match a green shirt, I don't care who you are!)What color eyeshadow helps make blue AND green stand out?
My eyes change colour from bright green to blueish-green and I find the best eyeshadow to be brown - graded from dark near the eyelashes, mid brown on the lid and light on the arches...
I was watching this make up artist guy on YouTube and he was saying that golds and bronzes work well for blue eyes. He was under Enkoremakeup or something like that and the video was called Color Theory. He goes through a colour wheel and shows what best works with what. It was kinda interesting to see that there is actually this kind of stuff out there.

What is the best color eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipgloss for blue eyes?

I have blue eyes, a medium skin tone, and dark dark brown hair that basically looks like black. I usually wear a light purple eyeshadow with a plum eyeliner and black mascara. Also, a pink lipgloss. Also, I know you shouldn't match your eyeshadow to your clothes, but I don't think just any shadow would look good with a honey shirt with a brown hollister logo. It's a really nice shirt too, I just don't know what would go.What is the best color eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipgloss for blue eyes?
eyeshadow- go for smokey eyes, they'd look fabulous with a honey shirt.

    eyeliner- brown or black.

lipgloss- simple clear with a pink glowWhat is the best color eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipgloss for blue eyes?
also a midnight blue looks good with blue eyes Report Abuse

My eyes are green with a blue rim. When I wear purple or plum it makes my eyes look more green. If I want them to look more blue I use black or gray with a neutral color base, or shades of blue with a hint of brown or black liner. Also the lighter your lips the more your eyes stand out. Since you have beautiful blue eyes, I would stay neutral on the lip.
Yes I would wear a light icy purple eyeshadow maybe even baby blue would be nice. light black mascera, peachy lip gloss. and a good foundation. Good Luck
You have described my coloring to a tee, and what i do is at wal-mart go to the ALMAY and they have a chart for whatever color ur eyes are. They are so right the browns and beiges that i use really bri g out hte color. They have a set for bringing out color and for playing up color
i think you sould wear a brown/golden color of eye shadow. your eyeliner should be a dark brown and for mascara wear a color that matches your hair. lip gloss should be a darker shade of your natrual lip color.
Okay try a warm brown eyeshadow with black eyeliner and mascara with a plum pink and brown lip gloss.

What color eyeshadow should a girl with blue eyes wear?

I cant find a eyeshadow that I like?

If you have any suggestions, Brand name and color!

THANKSWhat color eyeshadow should a girl with blue eyes wear?
Browns bring out blue eyes the best.

Check out Almay eye shadows, they have collections sorted by eye color so you can use that to help pick which colors suit you best! What color eyeshadow should a girl with blue eyes wear?
Well if you blue eyes, then you should wear colors that compliment blue, like brown, tan, green, and purple. A lot of brands should have it like Maybelline, Loreal, Covergirl, and Revlon. Oh and if you really want your blue eyes to pop out, do the smoky eye look and nicely put on black eyeliner ( but no to much) , that should really pop them out! Hope that helped!
Pinks %26amp; browns. This is because the two groups compliment the color blue very well, thus making the eyes stand out a lot more. Test it out. Hold something purple against something blue. Hold something orange, brown, or pink against something blue. Which color makes the blue stand out more?

As for brand, I always go with Neutrogena for ALL my makeup.
    clinique and beauty rush!

What color eyeshadow looks good on blue eyes and fair skin?

its summer so you can play with an array of colors... try more greens or bronze/golds.. they will bring your eyes out... stay away from browns (in general, i dont really like them on anyone, unless its done right).. and if you do nutral colors, try to have some sort of shimmer in it...

and always with makeup.. its not permanent so think loutside the box!!What color eyeshadow looks good on blue eyes and fair skin?
pastel colours and neutralsWhat color eyeshadow looks good on blue eyes and fair skin?
    light pink.
Try the new mary kate and ashley glitter products but use a small brush and it looks good but not too much color. my daughter uses the light cream colors shes light skinned and ble eyed.

Have fun. I use the darker shades like a sun tan color but it goes on really light you can also use it everywhere.
try light pinks and browns.. they always seem to work for me and i have green eyes.
pinks...but not hot pink....light pastel pink
a light peach or a frosted blue in the lighter tones
    browns
I would say a mixture of a whiteish gold colour. Because I have blue eyes and fair skin.
I pretty much agree with every one.....just no BLUE
browns, pinks, gold, copper.....the copper color will make your eyes stand out
    earthy browns.

almay makes color group geared for various eye colors.

i have a group for brown eyes and i love it!!

who knew i should wear purples!!

so, go to the store where you can get Almay cosmetics and get some!1
Nice bronze, brown, taupe. You can also go with a rich burgundy for an accent and to bring out the blue.

For a traditional smoky look go with silver, pearl and charcoal.
i have blue eyes and i love wearing a baby blue, then at the end of my eyes i use a charcoal grey,i do a light line of eyeliner under my eyes and to top it off i use covergirl mascara. it looks rly good and i have gotten a lot of compliments. i also use pink and darker pink. i use two colors cuz i think it looks pretty to go from light to dark. so u should try it out.
Pink powder with a little sparkle or glitter
I have blue eyes and red hair (fair skin) And I bring out my eyes with brown eyeshadow, and mascara. Using a bit of black in the corner of your eye (closest to your nose) and sweeping it out to the middle of the eye and putting brown from the middle to the outer of the eye is good for night time. Shading these two colours is good. But brown works wonders for blue eyes.
    brownish and orange
What color hair do you have?

    Burgundys/Wines/Peaches/Browns

I use a Burgundy/Wine Mix eyeshadow and Peach/Wine for Blush

    Good Luck!
Pinks, light browns, and light gray.
    gold or caremel brownish color
shades of blue and pink are all time favorites................golden and silver can give good contrast for evenings. don't forget to give a natural mascara touch and light dip of eyeliner
light blue will intesify your eyes and brown makes them stand out!! Use browns, blues, light pinks and grey. also add a little bit of eyeshadow with shimmer.
Emerald green. Not too dark though. Different shaders of green depending on how fair you are.

What are the best eyeshadow/liner combinations for dark blue eyes?

I have light skin (I'm starting to get a little tan) and medium brown hair with blonde highlights.

What colors would really make my eyes pop and brighten them? What are the best eyeshadow/liner combinations for dark blue eyes?
Warm tones of browns, caramels and taupes really enhance blue eyes. What are the best eyeshadow/liner combinations for dark blue eyes?
Hmm can't say much about specific colours but to pop your eyes out and brighten them you need to use contrasting colours on your eyes so they stand out. Also dark colours work well, just make sure you do not apply too much or colours that are too dark because they can overpower your eyebrows and it just looks tacky :X. Also, if your eyebrows are light or patchy consider getting a product to fill them in and darken them, nothing adds to a face (specifically eyes) like nice eyebrows. If your eyebrows are thick then get them waxed at a salon. Well hope I helped, I'm new to using eyeliner hehe but know the basics.
    hi there!!!!

the most important thing to consider when you're applying make-up is the skin tone...

you have a light skin, do have medium brown hair with blonde highlights...

what i am doing with that cases is that since you have dark blue eyes, you can combine a little touch of black liner outside the bottom eyelids with dominant brown liner inside the bottom eyelids....

you can put some blue and black liner at the top eyelids, it can be full closed set to make your eyes look poped...

in terms of putting eyeshadows, you can have earth colors such as dark brown, beige or bronze....

if you put too much light eyeshadows, you would look awkward....

hope that i could see your face contour so that i could really help you....
almay makes this GREAT eye set for different colored eyes. i LOVE it. it makes my blue eyes stand out and just look really nice. it's 3 separate things to buy. blue mascara. brown eyeliner. and a set of 3 shadows, brown, dark blue, light blue. the instructions r right on the box. however i switched it up a little and played around with it and this is how i think it works best. use black liner and black mascara. also apply brown eye shadow first over eyelid. then blend in dark blue and finish with blending a LITTLE light blue but not too much. ppl always compliment my eyes when i do them like that. good luck! messing around with things worked really well for me!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could help me find the ideal eyeshadow colour(s) for my blue-grey eyes. I have blonde hair (but darker eyebrows and lashes) and a fair complexion and have tried so many colours already! True pinks and warm browns seem to make me look as if I have cried for weeks...

Thanks for your help!Which eyeshadow would make my blue-grey eyes really stand out?
Lilac does wonders on blue eyes!Which eyeshadow would make my blue-grey eyes really stand out?
Purple is recommended for Blue eyes.. I have the same color eyes as you and I use a purple/brown mix and it makes my eyes stand out a lot. Try this one on for size.

    http://www.imedmart.com/ECCO-BELLA/Flowe鈥?/a>
Try electric blue and some sparkly silver on top it will really make your blue/grey eyes stand out and totally match your eye colour.
Try looking at the opposite side of the colour wheel for colours to bring out your eyes...

In your case go orange - well thats probably a bit OTT so I would reccommend an orangy gold :)

    Good luck!x
use a siver base followed by light blue on the inside corners and light green on the outside corners both blended into the middle untill they touch using your pointer finger or an eye shadow blender

What's the best eyeshadow color to match my blue mascara?

Colored mascara is the rage right now in my place and I thought I'd try some when I go out with some friends tomorrow night. But I'm having trouble with my eyeshadows. They just don't look right with my new mascara. I don't wanna look funny or anything. Should I stick with the classic black mascara and ditch the colored ones? What's the best eyeshadow color to match my blue mascara?
Have you tried white eyeshadow? Its awesome. You wouldn't think so but it is. Black is hot too. Makes me wanna buy some funky mascara ;o)What's the best eyeshadow color to match my blue mascara?
I tend to put on black masacara and do pink frosted tips. But if you want all blue lashes go for blue eyshadow with different shades. it sounds obvious but any other colours would be a bit rainbowish. match the eyshadow exactly or do black shadow black mascara and blue tips. xx
did you try a darkish blue? that usually works, and maybes its just the brand your using that isnt right for you, try some different brands and if you still dont like them go back to the cliassic black.
    I'd go with classic black they tend to look better, however copper colored eyeshadow with blue mascara would look quite interesting because the copper would make the blue ';pop';
Maybe a shade of blue or purple...ooohhh what if you did blue and then higher to the top of your eye you used a tint of purple that would looke pretty sweet!
Try a brown or bronzey color.

    Or a pale shimmery color.
I think if you wanna go with the blue mascara where a silver eyeshadow and blend a small amount of blue in the crease of your eyelids.

    x
    try silver,white,black, or navy
I would have to say teal. It makes the eye pop and it looks very cute in the spring
green all day long! They say blue and green should never be seen , but they are wrong!!!

mix up colours, like use blue eyshadow with silver sparkles and a dark eyelinerWhat eyeshadow colour with royal blue dress?
what you are wearing makes no difference, you want something that flatters your skin tone.
depends on your skin color. Gold could work, green could work. Silver might look nice. Put the dress on and try a few different kinds, or bring it to a department store, or wear a shirt with the same color and ask the counter ladies what looks best with your skin.

Bare Essentials has a wide wide array of choices, if you have one of they're stores near you go there.
a light silvery. i heard somewhere that when you were blue it is always ok to wear silver. try covergirl one color. they have this very light lavender or light grey or silver.
light colours like a whitey, silver. Or a pale blue or even a light pink may look good.
When in doubt, always use tawny.
    shine light gold or white
i would go with a white silverish grayish color ...

%26lt;3What are some good eyeshadow colors for blue eyes?
Because your skin is tan, some eyeshadow colors such as brown or blue may not show up very well. I would highly recommend that you wear a gold shimmery eyeshadow palatte with your gorgeous eyes. The gold will contrast very nicely with both your eyecolor and skin color, and the shimmer will reflect some light to brighten up your eyes. Check out these links and see if you like any of the golden tones. http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr…

    http://www.urbandecay.com/vegan.cfm
    - If you have blue eyes then you should use a darker shade of eye shadow than your eye color.

    - In order to get that smoky effect you should mix the darker eye shadow with a touch of black.

    - To brighten any shade of blue you can use silver, turquoise or fuchsia.

    Blue eyeshadow??

I know blue eyeshadow has come a long way %26amp; some people still wear it %26amp; can pull it off...how do you do that? Which blues work best, how do you apply them, %26amp; with what eye colors? Mine are hazel...Blue eyeshadow??
It has to do with your skin undertones not necessarily your eye color. Blue eyes look really great in blues but it can be used on lot of other eyes as well as long as you are careful of the shade and undertone. First, please, please, please don't pick up that shimmery blue. Smack your own hand if you have to. I know it's catchy, i know it looks pretty in the package but don't do it. You'll give yourself 80's eyes. First, figure out what your undertones are and go from there. If you are a warm, blue can be tricky. If you are a cool then you can go with lighter shades of blue or more vibrant blues.

You'll want to go with a more navy non-shimmery blue that isn't so cool looking. You also don't want to apply it over the entire eyelid. This is when blue gets ugly. An entire eyelid of blue on anyone with pale skin is usually best left to a pro. For at home, I like Urban Decay's Envy and Goddess. They aren't shimmery, they're glittery. There truly is a difference when it's blue we're talking about. Apply a soft shimmering pale white or peach beige shadow all over. Try Urban Decay blunt, sin, or midnight cowboy, or Bobbi Brown snow. Apply from lashline to browbone. Line your eyes with a deep black blue liner or even black. Softly smudge that line. You don't want to look harsh. Don't forget to apply your liner up under your top lashline to avoid that skin gap between liner and lashes. Okay, bring on the blue. You want to apply the blue in the crease of the eye. Pat it into place. Now connect it to the liner in an inverted V on the outer corner of your eye. Now blend. This gives you a nice pop of blue without screaming BLUE!!

You can line the bottom lashes and smudge with a damp q-tip. Add a little more of your pale shimmery beige or white in the inner corners of the eye and lightly dabbed below your smudged lower lash line to soften that line. You've now done ';blue'; without looking garish. Blue can be very glamorous if done right.Blue eyeshadow??
Blues can now be worn on everyone, you just have to know how. With hazel eyes, I'd probably go more of a darker blue, but don't put too much on. Even a turquoise blue would look amazing. But remember sometimes less is more. First but on a lighter blue on your crease, then on the outside corner, put some of the darker color on top. Don't go all the way to the brow. And don't go too bright or powdereyblue because it makes you look like a kid. Finish with mascara and maybe even a little eyeliner. For more of a dramatic look, I like to swipe some color right below my bottom eyelashes. Or if you don't like eyeshadow, try a blue eyeliner and put that on your tops lashline only, it'll look cute!
Well I just discovered Hard Candy and I swear by it. On line its alot cheaper but they have this really great light blue glittery one called Snowcone. I love it!
i think that browns go with blue eyes

    blues go with brown eyes..
i love blue. you just have to try it out and see what works best with you
I would try a light, shimmery blue for a subtle look.

For a bolder, more intense look, try a turqoise blue.

Apply it all over the lid, and a little over the crease. At least, that's how I put mine on. It also looks cute when you mix colors together.
I think you should go for a goldy colour eye shadow, as you have hazel eyes I dont think blue will look right on you!
The basic rule is if you have blue eyes NEVER and I repeat NEVER wear blue eyeshadow. It's not the 80's anymore.
My eyes are brown and I always wear bright eyeshadows. With colors like blue I put it on half my lid (going across) and put another color on the outer part of my lid, then I blend them where they meet and put on some eyeliner. Also, make sure you don't do too strong a lip with such bright eye colors.
for hazel use a med. tone and apply on the lid but no all of it and you might want to go with a greenish blus tone and get a shadow brush
Well, i have blue-y green eyes and i like to wear dark blue eyeshadow with white on the upper part when i wear blue outfits. it brings out all the blue and none of the green.
    i have hazelish eyes too.

    i use:

dark blue in the crease, baby blue in the middle

and almost -white blue under the brow line with a good angle brush and red girl or color workshop (classic colors kit) eyeshadow!good luck/
    Try A Light Blue.

I think blue is a little out dated for me.
my eyes are hazel too and i love wearing turquoise. I usually put a little bit of turq eye shadow right in the corners by my nose... it highlights what I have and compliments the shirt really well.. . I'm going to look and see if i have a pic of me wearing it and post it on here. i always get compliments when I do it! just add little touches, don't go overboard and you will look great
dont put it on that dark. for hazel eyes put a light blue on.
With hazel eyes, you should go for a matte color blue. Don't do shiny or pearl colors. And use a medium shade of blue, nothing too pale or too dark...does that make sense? And make sure to blend it into your crease! And it should somewhat match your eyeliner! Good luck!
You cant wear blue eyeshadow without looking trashy.
I think the best blue is a light blue or silver blue.
Well blue eyeshadow to me looks like a little kid. But, some people can pull it off if you carefully mix and match the colors. Add a little bit a gray to not make the shadow look so intense...and make sure to wear a dark colored mascara with it.

Blue and pink look great together too.

    Blue Eyeshadow?

A makeup do or don't? In your opinion.Blue Eyeshadow?
The only one that could ever pull it off was Barbie. I think it's a big fashion No No.Blue Eyeshadow?
I like blue on the people that can pull it off, others look like clowns.
yes and no. if you want to look like you're in the 80's just learning to wear make up or going to a recital then stay away from true blues (dark or light) if you want a punch of color try cool shades like teal aqua or turquise. just remember to keep the rest of your make up neutral of corse.
    a very big don't

that went out in the 80's but if you must wear it light and not dark, liner maybe but not to much blue
It's a do, if done right. Don't apply it over the entire lid and stay away from chalky 70's versions.
I think it would look fine... its just when little girls wear makeup, thats the color they usually pick, so people don't really like it, what I would do tho, is when you put it on your eye, just put it up high, then put a gold or white at the bottom, and put a silver or black eyeliner... also don't wear many other bright colors, if your wearing blush... make sure its not red... wear a clear lip gloss, then your face should look balanced... so i would say go for it! tell me if you like how it looks in the end.... hope i helped some!!!
Some people look good in blue eyeshadow, others like me for example look weird
blue eyeshadow i think only looks good as an accent color (like in the outer colors of the lid)
It depends.... this is definately a do! http://www.almay.com/pg/main/cateyes.asp鈥?/a>
    its a dont.
Don't be a fraid of color. I find blue looks good on darker eye colors (mainly brown). On blue eyes it tends to wash out your color. If going for a blue shadow don't go solid blue - you don't want to overwhelm and look taky.

Use a base color - a neutral siver or light brown, purple can work too - and just accent. You can do the accent one of three ways. 1) Make a thicker line of shadow above you lashes/where you apply your eye liner. 2)The corner of your eye, just on the bottom above eye liner and a little in, slowly shade it/blend it well with your base color and then do a thin line under your bottom lashes, joining them together at the outer corner of your eye. 3)For something a little more bold start from the outer corner about half way up your lid and blend in a slight angle out and up - filling in down towards you lashes and blending in a little - blending is key. I really recommend a long hair eyeshadow brush, I love the angle or wedge shaped ones (the little ones they included with the shadow don't blend nicely and they make it blocky and too solid). Also see about getting a nice champagne color (covergirl has one) to fill in underneath your eyebrow - again it's that whole blending thing.

Hopefully my descriptions make sense - I tend to use Annabell in a shimmery irredecent blue (also I love the green) and it looks really good. If you find you've gotten a little too dark or too much color just tone it down with a swipe of your thumb and maybe take some powdered face press and brush it over your lid.
DONT I think its sooo outdated!
It depends what clothes you are wearing and how you are wearing it. I like to wear it sometimes when I have a light blue top of mine on. Also, I have some blue eyeliner that looks really good against my blue-green eyes.
i think if you got the frosty kind and used a thin eye liner brush and dip in water...and just above the lashes...looks pretty hot...
Don't unless you want to look like that lady from the drew carey show
    dont!
It went out of style....sorry sweetie
Yeah. its ok. On you...yeah. Depends on what your eye color is. Blue-yeah. Green-yeah. anything else- no
Unless u wanna look like u got a black eye

    Go on....
of course looks gorgeous with very heavy mkakeup and bright red glossy lips.
lol you fine im me sn jeminem2 -i got a pic-
That would depend on the shade and the application of the color you can check out some tips at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 also you can find some bule color and email and ask for samples!!!
it depends on the shade of blue and the outfit it is going with.

Ok so I got this like grayish blue color and its not like blue but its not gray. Its very pretty and I really like it. Although i dont wear really any eyeshadow colors except for brown or a gold brown because i have brown eyes... Would it be ok if i wore the blueish gray eyeshadow or would it make my eyes look wierd?Blue eyeshadow??
first i would put on a lil brown or black eye shadow and then underneath tht i would put a lil blue eyeshadow =]. i have friends w/ brown eyes who do tht n it looks rly pretty. or if u were wearing something tht looks good w/ ur eyeshadow u could wear the blue w/ it. or maybe do 2 dif colors on the top. like blue closer 2 ur lashes n fade it 2 a brown higher up and farther away. juss play around w/ it n u may find something u like more. (trust me it will look pretty =] )Blue eyeshadow??
Oh, you'll be fine! I have brown eyes, too. And a grayish-blue seems like the perfect color for a smoky eye! Wear it at night or for a wild look. Or you can use it as eyeliner! That's what I do! Powder looks tons better than pencil--it's softer and I think it makes eyes pop. Get a very narrow brush and smudge it under your lashline. Good luck! :)
    Once you've put

    black eyeliner on your bottom

lid, just take a brush and

put a little bit of the blue under the liner.

Put as little as you can, so you can't really notice it.

But trust me, your brown eyes will pop, it'll look pretty.

    :)
    Wow it sounds really pretty.

You could wear it, but keep it from the inner crease to the outer crease of your eye. This will freshen up your eyes. You could also do a light line of brown eyeliner .

    Hope that helps!
it would be fine it would really go with your eye color =)
it depends what you are wearing

What color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?

What color of eyeshadow would look best on someone with dark blue eyes, red hair, and and a moderately fair skin tone? Are there any that are light enough to go with whatever colors I'm wearing? What color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?
browns and bronzes buring the day. but dont cover the wholw eye with the same color. the darker shade should be in your crease areas toward the outside of your eye. And for night, smokey eyes look great and really make the blue stand out. Use soft greys and even black, but use very lightly. Or if you want to do something different all together i would recommend getting fake eyelashes from a wallgreens sort of store (mod lash works well). Carefully put the eylashes on with glue, or get a friend to help and just wear those with a little mascara and some colored lip tint. A soft red or pink would be nice. It makes you look simple but stunning. And try and get the small eyelashes, big long ones just look funny. If the eyelash thing scares you go to the mall and Mac can put them on for you. The eyelashes there are $9. Nude colors work well with light skin. Good luckWhat color of eyeshadow looks best with dark blue eyes?
Pink and brown look good but not at the same time, lol
I have brown hair, blue eyes and light skin. For me, a dark purple makes my eyes pop really nice. Also, try a copper/gold shadow, or even browns. I have had nice results with them. And, as someone else stated, try a gray eye liner. But your best bet is to try different things. What works for one person doesn't look good on another. While you are playing around with color, go and play with the cheap brands (the kind that are less than $3.00) to get an idea of what colors look nice on you. Or you can go to a makeup counter and get a consultation. Best of luck.
it should be a color that compliments you eyes. try lighter colors until you find one that agrees with your eyes. sometimes less is better--

    max
it sounds like u have a similar complexion to me(apart from the red hair), i had a make up consultaion about a year ago and the girl who did it told me to wear brown or grey eyeshadow but not too dark. She recomended putting a very pale beige(almost skin colour) or white eyeshadow all over the lid, then use the other colour over the bone just under ur eyebrow to highlight ur eye. hope this helps
    black they will stand out
My suggestion would be to go to http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson and do the Virtual Makeover. You choose the model that best matches your eye and hair color and you'll be able to select the right shades. Also try taking the You've Got Style Quiz to find a complete color look that matches your personality and personal style! =)
You should never match your make-up with what you are wearing you can coordinate the colors but never try to match. Since your hair color in red and your eye color is blue (which or both primary color) Try secondary colors like green and purple. Green will always compliment your hair while purple will do the same for your eyes.
Try them all , ppick the closest model to your complexion, hair color, eye color and try makeup on them with this website: http://www.marykay.com/whatsnew/virtualm鈥?/a>
blue eyes go with anything except for blue,
any shade of pink, soft purple, browns with pink undertones, olive green with an undertone of brown. i recommend that you go to a MAC counter (if there is a place that carries MAC cosmetics around you) and check out these shadows, they are awesome with blue eyes, i have them: Sable, expensive pink, sumptuous olive, trax, beauty mark, cranberry. MAC eyeshadows, blend really well, but if it is too much for your budget just go to a drugstore and try to match the colors you've seen with a brand like Maybeline or Lorel. (hint:they are just as good, especially when on a budget)
Experiment until you find what works best for you. Try a gray liner, taupe shadow on the lid and a pale blue on the crease.
I work at Ulta and do make up, i also have Bright/dark blue eyes, browns bring them out the best, also a very calm shade of blue will work ok, but mix them up a bit. Almay has a line to fit the color of your eyes and it is wonderful, it is a eyeshadow kit thing thats no more than 6 bucks, check it out
Browns are the best for blue eyes. Blues will drown out your eye color.
usually, with eye makeup, you should wear the opposite color of your eyes. if you look at almay products, theres a whole line of eye makeup, each thing is marked for like what eye color you have
shimmery silver n hazel colour ll go fabulous
green make sure its not lime.
I have blu eyes also and through the years the way to make your eyes really ocme out are browns and blacks, no toomuch black that'll look over done. I use a brown on the bottom and a lite pinkish shimmer on top to blend it. then i use black liquid eyeline on top then a black pencil eyeliner on bottom, do not use too much liner on top. And what i've learned is never EVER where a color to match your outfit its tacky and your eyes wont stand out much because your eyeshadow will blend in with your outfit. if your rather pale use a lighter brown. Or put Champagne in Maybelline on your whole eyelid, right in your creASE use a dark brown, then take a lighter brown and go over just the top of that, the take the champagne color or a very lite brown shimmer and blend it in. I never where blues just because i find it takes away from my eyes. I also use a Green and a red the red makes your eyes bright and pop out.
i have dark blue eyes and im obsessed with light blue eyeshadow. . it makes ur eyes stand out. .
A light color such as ';champagne'; on the lid and a brown in the crease really draws out blue eyes.

What eyeshadow looks best with blue eyes?

I also have a rounder face, if that makes any difference. What eyeshadow looks best with blue eyes?
me too! i use browns, tans, corals and golds. What eyeshadow looks best with blue eyes?
    1. Gray is for everyday.

    2. Brown is for when you are bored with the gray.

    3. Deep plums, purples, and pinks are for an evening look.

    4. Dark shimmery grass greens, and olive shimmery greens are for a special occasion, or a fantasy look.

    5. Bronze is for a summertime look after you are tanned.

    6. Avoid all the blacks, they are too harsh on blue eyes.

    7. Avoid all the blues, because matching distracts.

    Hope that helped.

    Good Luck.
I also have blue eyes, and i like to do a bronze eyeshadow with a darker but still bronze or brown eyeliner and black mascara, I know it sounds weird, but it really makes your eyes look bluer where as colors like black and gray really take away from your blue eyes
browns are beautiful on blue eyes...

Ok, I've heard so many different responses. Purple, pink, silver, green, copper, brown, blue, everything. So I am desperate to find a color that will complement my blue eyes. Thanks! :]What color eyeshadow makes blue eyes pop?
purple makes green pop if u have a hint of green in your baby blues this could make them look more on the green side i would stay with the bronze colors and for an alternate eye pinks greys and smokey colors dont use blues you will only take away from your eyes hope i was able to helpWhat color eyeshadow makes blue eyes pop?
Brown doesn't work for me at all! It just makes me look like I've rubbed dirt on my face, haha..

You can get eye - colour enhancing drops... but if your blue eyes don't already pop, then there isn't really anything you can do, because alot of the time it doesn't really have much effect...

I find that black mascara does the trick. No7 Extreme Length is awesome for good but natural lashes.
Well it depends. If you want them to look brighter, probably brown.

If you want them to look darker and deeper, then go with like a charcoal gray color.

    Good luck!! =]
brown or green, a good combo is green eyeshadow with some brown eyeliner and covergirl exacteyelights mascara, i think thats what its anyways, and u shud just buy the mascara for lbue eyes
personaly i think if you are tan with blue eyes use: brown green purple (maybe black) or tan. if you are pale use: tan, light green, gray, and a verrrry light brown.
brown or blue eyeliner is supposed to make blue eyes pop! or blue/brown eye shadow!

    good luck!
black eyeliner looks ah mazingggggggggggg on blue eyes if you put it on rightt.
    brown.

http://www.jurgita.com/articles-id1.htmlWhat are some good eyeshadow colors for blue eyes?
You should start with a very thin layer of black or very dark brown right in/along your lashes.. (but making it thicker as you move towards the outside of your eyelid).. .

Then start about half way towards the outside of your eyelid do a very thin layer of light brown/or orange following right along on top of the last layer... blending together..

and then starting about half way again, do a thin layer of a nice orange/or dark yellow, and blend that in..

and then blend a bit of yellow/or light pink, or white on the inside half..

and it always helps to add a bit of foundation to begin with to make your upper eyelids look fresher and more even.. try to match them with the rest of your face.
Copper makes blue eyes sizzle. Also, browns, pinks, golds, purples, and silver/grey tones are great.
DARK COLORS REALLY MAKE BRIGHT EYES STAND OUT ON THE OTHER HAND SUM LIGHT COLORS MAKE UR EYES LOOK INNOCENT AND PURE
golds look amazing and so do browns. also try a deep purple.

Is a 12 year old wearing light blue eyeshadow and mascara ok?

    Again she's wondering

It's light blue, and grey, NOT darkIs a 12 year old wearing light blue eyeshadow and mascara ok?
I think wearing make up is something she shouldn't worry about at her age. Yes, I know. It's probably something she doesn't want to hear. But my question to her is ';why would she want to wear makeup?'; Is it to impress someone? Is it for fun (leave it at home if that's the case)? We all want to look attractive, even when we're young. But she needs to be careful of what kind of message it might send. There are a lot of psycho's out there and if they see a young lady with makeup on, it might send the wrong message and set her up as a target for something she may not want. Maybe she could wear her hair in a new way, or something like that (less mature). These young ladies have bad influences any more such as Lindsey Lohan and Brittany Spears. They make the young ladies try and grow up way too fast.Is a 12 year old wearing light blue eyeshadow and mascara ok?
Rule number one of makeup: Unless you're a drag queen, barbie, or 80's impersonator, light blue eyeshadow is never okay.

12 is way too young for makeup and will cause problems for her face later in life if she starts wearing anything else.

Mascara, maybe. Lip gloss, maybe. But not light blue eyeshadow.. *shudders*
I know my parents never liked it when they saw kids with make-up, but that would be their problem, not the kid's. Yeah it's fine nothing wrong with it.
Of course!!! Just make sure it isn't really heavy!!!!!!
    sure y not
I don't think it is appropriate for any 12 year old to wear makeup period.
    TOTALLY FINE GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    No. Too young.
    yea its fine
Eyeshadow, yeah. Mascara, I don't think so.
NO! Why would a 12 year old girl need to wear makeup? They are 12! At that time they should be trying to get in touch with themselves, and that doesnt mean themselves plus fingerpaint. They should be letting their true selves out.
    NO.
    uhh YES

    girls at my school wear

    foundation

    lip gloss

    lip liner

    eye shadow

    eyeliner

    mascara

    at its 7th grade

    all the girls are 12-14ish
I don't think it is appropriate for any 12 year old to wear makeup
  • Electric Scooter
  • Blue eyeshadow?

do you think it depends on the skin color weather you can pull off blue eyeshadow or not? like electric blue?Blue eyeshadow?
i think it depends more on the facial features rather than skin tone, yes i think that if you have a little darker skin tone than it might look better (depending on the blue) but it has more to how your face looks,

also how good you are at putting on makeup in the first placeBlue eyeshadow?
No it does not. The only thing it depends on is how good you are at applying makeup and staying within certain ';guidelines';.

Try the electric blue eyeshadow with a matching blue eyeliner on top and bottom, a matte face and neutral matte lips. Use a little mascara unless your eyelashes are already long and full.

Note: Use general rules for applying eyeshadow, so use a lighter blue hue up on top and the darker electric blue on the lid. Add a little white shimmer over it for a very pretty effect.
i think it more depends on the eye color. like if you had blue eyes and tried the electric blue it wouldnt go right. skin color could be a factor. you dont want to try it if you have very fair skin. i think that looks funny. but if you are a dark person it think it will look good!
It may look good on you, try uploading your photo onto Mary Kay's virtual makeover and see how it looks on you, here's link http://www.marykay.com/bvelazquez/whatsn鈥?/a>
blue eyshadow according to marie claire is coming back into style but i dont think very many people are going to be brave enough to try it
Try denim blue-I have hazel eyes, but a makeup artist made me up with this and it looked fantastic. Sadly, I can't reproduce it!
youll look like mimi from the drew carey show..who wants that?

Would navy blue eyeshadow look bad on a brunette with brown eyes?

No. I wear navy blue eyeshadow and I always get compliments on how it looks.Would navy blue eyeshadow look bad on a brunette with brown eyes?
Yes. Blue eye shadow doesnt really look good on anyone.Would navy blue eyeshadow look bad on a brunette with brown eyes?
Yeah. That's too dark, definitely go for more subtle colors.
no it would look super hot!!!
yeah blues for mostly blue eyed. you need to use green or brown for brown eyes.
    no.
    Thats sounds bad
it depends. for every day, thats a big NO. but, if ur going clubbing or out to dinner with ur boyfriend, then go ahead and give it a shot
I think it could look gorgeous.
No. Applied carefully it'll give you a great smoky eye, depending on skin tone.
I think it would look fantastic.. dark shade on dark features...

    the outcome must be fabulous!
No, actually, it looks really nice if you put a lighter color (a stone blue) on the eyelid above it (towards the brow)
It would look as bad as a Laplace Transform on a polynomial equation.
I believe it would look bad. The best make-up to wear is the colors that highlight the tons in your skin. No one and I mean no one has blue tones. I have seen very few people wear even pale blue well and they had blue or green eyes.

Still it's about choosing and expressing yourself; that's what make-up is mostly about. So, if you like that color, find a freind who has about the same skin coloring as you do, the same eye coloring and hair coloring. Then ask them to let you put it on them and see if you like it. If you like it, wear it.

Colors that would normally add to and high light positively a person with brunette hair, brown eyes and I assume medium skin tons, would be some of the following.

Plum, rose, possibly a soft coral, some medium pinks and purples, several shades of tans and browns, greens that are not in the lime green family of green.

A good way to really see what you look good in, what adds to and not distracts or takes away from your natural beauty, is really to find someone who has your coloring, then ask them if they'd allow you to try out some different colors in make-up on them, to see if the colors would look good on you, if they are colors you should be wearing. If you do not have such a friend who'd let you do this and is your coloring. Find the place on your arm that is closest to the shades in your face. Try out some colors on your arm. It will at least help you see some possibilities of what colors are best for you.

Too often people wear what is popular, not what actually looks good on them. Go with what highlights your own beauty, not what all the other girls, women are wearing.

    Take care
If your skin is fair, it would be a little harsh... try matching/blending it with a light blue shade as well.
im a brunette wid light brown eyes and i put on navy blue eyeshadow and it looked bomb! =) it brought out the color of my eyes =) go 4 it gurl wear what makes u, u!
try it and see, but normally blue eyeshadow looks good on brunettes with brown eyes.....makes your eyes POP. :)
no not at all, but it would probably bring it all together better if you wore a navy shirt.
    No!
It all depends on what undertone (of your skin) you have. If its warm, then it would look great.

What bold eyeshadow colors can blondes with blue eyes wear?

I want to wear the bold, high pigment eyeshadow that is in style now. Gold, turqoise (peacock), green apple, ect. How can I make these colors work with my pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes? I feel something is missing to make it look complete. I wear a neutral lip gloss and bronzer on cheeks. Any suggestions? What bold eyeshadow colors can blondes with blue eyes wear?
ALL THE COLORS YOU MENTIONED EXCEPT FOR THE GOLD WILL BE PERFECT FOR YOUR PALE COMPLEXION. TRY ADDING A LITTLE MORE COLOR TO YOUR LIPS AND USING A CORDINATING EYELINER.What bold eyeshadow colors can blondes with blue eyes wear?
u picked some pretty good colors.. I am pretty sure they'll look great on u :)

I have one friend who is blonde and has kinda small blue eyes and pale skin..

The best color that looks really good on her is shades of greens.. specially the dark ones.. Also navy blue.. oh looks so cute on her :D

the thing that is missing is some nice mascara!! go for brownish black! best color for masara.. not so blacky and not so browny to go with ur hair =)
I think pink would look great. Just liquid eyeliner to the top and lots of mascara. A bit like the 50's look, just in bright colours.

You could try a nice pink or coral blusher instead of the bronzer. I think bronzer works best when the rest of your makeup is in golds and neutrals.
Pink eyeshaddow looks great on blondes, makes you even more feminine, id say use a dark eyeliner aswell to make your eyes stand out even more and possibly a bright lipstick instead of the neutral if your trying to make a statement.
Sea Blue makes blondes(with blue eyes)look really edgy and now.or else a deep purple

What Color eyeshadow would go good with blue eyes?

I'm a bit confused on what colors would bring out my eyes and what colors wouldn't.What Color eyeshadow would go good with blue eyes?
i would suggest a medium-chocolate brown eyeshadow at your crease and a lighter brown-cream at the top and/or onyour lids. use a black/brown eyeliner on your bottom lashline and blend it a little so it isnt so harsh. the trick is to use black eyeliner for evening/night and brown for day.

if you want to be more dramatic i would say a grayish-blue eyeliner and then pick a light grey shade for your lids and then blend a darker bluer-gray color on top (most grey shades have a blue tint to them) if you cant find grey look for blues with smokey tones to them.

to answer your question, the best colors for blue eyes would be violet/gray/any other purple color on the lid and a light taupe higher up on your brow bone. blend them together where they meet. you can also always stick with brown, it is a natural color for all eye colors.

remember: experiment and have fun! i hope this info helps :)What Color eyeshadow would go good with blue eyes?
Greens and purples will make your eyes stand out the best, avoid Blues! I have green eyes and i stay away from green shadows. You shouldn't wear shadows that are the same light color of your eyes. When i wear blue or purple shadows it looks amazing! Coppers, golds, and silver are nice too. Please do not match your shirt with your shadow that is a fashion no no!
go to like a CVS or eckered and they cell this eye shadow product that looks good for colored eyes.

I have the green one you just look for blue,

but my green one gives me alot of green colors so imma say for blue that it may be blues and beige's and creams and browns
Well, it all depends on what you are wearing. If you wear a red shirt and red shoes and white pants then you should put on white eye shadow. keep in mind try to match your eye color with your outfit too
copper and bronze look really good with blue eyes.

    it really makes them pop

    with brown eyeliner

    and black mascara.
I like to use golds, browns, and purple really makes my eyes pop. Use black mascara and brown eyeliner.
orange and gold as they are opposites on the colour spectrum
earth tones. you cuold also go for that smokey look.
hmm go for golds and shimmery creams
i would say grey/silver.that looks really pretty!
    brown
    light brown will be better

What color eyeshadow and eyeliner go with blue eyes?

I am fair-skinned with dirty blonde hair.

Brand names would be helpful, too. Thanks! What color eyeshadow and eyeliner go with blue eyes?
    we look the samee:)

blue eyes, dirty blond hair and fair skin.

its kinda hard fining stuff for our eyes and when i go to make up counters they always give me orange and dark blue, but the best thing i have found is brown eyeliner instead of black with brown mascara, green and blue eyeliners will also look really good, for eyeshadow i like using light pink and skin tone colors b.c. other colors take away from our eyes.

my fav. brand is clinique.:)What color eyeshadow and eyeliner go with blue eyes?
Well for blue eyes, silver usually works best, i would not use a really bold color because of your complection. Also for eyeliners, i would use a gray, a cobalt blue, or a black. With fair skin, a bit of pale pink blush on your cheeks always looks cute to warm up your face. If you have big eyes, you can outline the entire eye, but with small eyes, you definately don't want to because it makes them appear smaller, only do the top, the bottom, or the corners. Also, you could aply white eyeshadow under the brow line, on the lid, and in the crease of your eye lightly before you put on any shadows, it high lights the eye better.
deffinetly use light brown with orangish undertones, looks AMAZING with blue eyes (for the eyeshadow)

now for eyeliner, either black or a plum :)
    Brown eyeliner and copper eyeshadow.
go back to art and use use the color wheel to find complimentary colors
well withyour hair color and eyes a light eyeshadow like about white wud look cute on you :) and black eyeliner

What color eyeshadow look alright with dark blue grey eyes? Would a subtle rosy color be okay?

I have deep honey colored hair, a pale (and at times rosy) complexion, and blue-grey eyes. In shade my eyes seem almost colorlessly grey, and in sunlight they are a light blue. I usually wear browns and nudes, but since it's summer I've been looking to mix it up a bit. Suggestions? What color eyeshadow look alright with dark blue grey eyes? Would a subtle rosy color be okay?
as a general rule, those with blueish eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. you could also try using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

if you are looking for an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic smoky effect. you can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel.

violets and lavenders are most recommended if you have a combination of baby blues and blonde hair. this is because a light purple is the most flattering for most blondes who tend to have fairer skin than those with darker hair.

you can use violet on the creases of your eyelids as well as on the lid in general. a lighter lavender above the crease will give you a more dramatic look for evenings. more neutral colors are ideal for daytime, but it's always fun to wear purple no matter what the time or season!

tans and browns can flatter the shape and shade of your eyes without overpowering your hair or other features. in the evenings, adding a gold shimmer is a great finishing touch for those with gorgeous, fiery hair and contrasting blue eyes.

i would keep your lips simple with a natural looking gloss, that way you can have a bit more fun with your eye make-up.

    hope this helps

xWhat color eyeshadow look alright with dark blue grey eyes? Would a subtle rosy color be okay?
All blues would go perfect for you. Instead of sticking to one color, blend a bunch of blues. The best blues for blending are cuberry eyeshadows obviously, but cheaper brands might also do the trick.

A aqua-jade with sparkles might mix it up too. Bluish-green colors go very very well on a pale complextion.
It seems like I have the same eye, complextion, and hair features as you. I wear golden sparkly eyeshadow and I get lots of compliments on my eye color when I wear it. I really love it! Good Luck:D
    I'd say

a lighter gray than your color,

    and yes light pink,

    and wine,

    silver,

    or shimmery pink! :]
A rosy colour will probably look nice. Maybe try some golds, blacks, purples, and pink shades. Those might look nice with your eye colour. Hope you find something nice :)
med. browns and i have the same look as you and gold looks really good on me it would prolly work 4 u 2. so basics:

    brown

    gold

    silver
You could go with a light Grey Eyeshadow to go with your eyes.

    or maybe a pink. =]
Try Maybelline Seashore Frost in the quads.
    gold looks amazing.
    I would say hot pink

i use a very dark brown. Black is sometimes okay, i gues it depends on what look your going for. but i have blue eyes and i just have a bronzey or brown eyeshadow. gold stuff tends to make blue eyes stand out.

i would suggest staying away from too dark colors, if you have really light hair. but yeah, blue eyes don't really need that much dressing up.What color eye liner or eyeshadow looks good with blue eyes?
you can use brown eyeliner (it kind or depends how much your gunna use) but i would prefer black. neutrals work on almost everyone. for eyeshadows id say :blues, pinks, purples, shimmer eyeshadow.

    METALICS, look awesome!

like gold and exspecially silver and you can also go for bronze but i think metalic silver looks the best ( i have blue eyes)
    hi there,

Black is the best because it will make your eyes stand out, since your not used to eyeshadows etc why dont you try neutral colours like light brown or pearlish colours. If you want your eyes to really stand out deep green colours would look nice and deep purple. But in terms of eyeliner black is the best cause you can wear it day and night
Wow, that's wierd your like my twin...lol except my hair is dirty blonde almost light brown.... Anyways, i wear black eyeliner, and green eyeshadow because it makes my eyes pop. Everyone thinks they look great on me. Light purple eyeshadow is good too, but mainly green.
It depends on what color of blue your eyes are. My eyes are a really light blue, almost grey, and black eyeliner looks too severe on me. I've found that a nice chocolate brown color looks really good and makes my eyes stand out the best.
    eyeliner: black,silver,brown,

eyeshadow: white-ish, light light brown, light silver
gold or skintone eyeshadows look best in my opinion but a light pinkish/coral is pretty too

and for eyeliner black makes blue eyes pop the most but for casual brown is good
Hmmmmm.... i would say black eye liner and a shimmery pale green eye shadow to make your blue eyes more noticeable...

Also wearing blue makes your eyes bluer...at least it makes my friends eyes bluer
Typically a deep gold blended with blue or purple looks best.

Also, tryo adding a little white, and keep light on the shadow.

Brown, green, and black eyeliner always look nice with blue eyes.
purples and pinks eyeshadow, with black eyeliner i guess.

but purple and pink eyeshadow for sure.

    maybe green!!!

ooo sooo many choices!! blue eyes go with a lot of stuff tho so ure very lucky!!! :)
black eye liner yes but don't over do the look

maybe use white eye shadow in the corner of your eye to bring out the blue

    this technique does work
dark brown eyeliner would look good. and a gold shimmery shadow always looks natural but pretty. :)
    brown eyeliner for sure!!!

    shimmery gold shadow
I have blue eyes and I use black eyeliner.

A light silver or light brown eye shadow will look good.
green or red eye shadow makes blue eyes pop. for eyeliner you should pick black.
that aqua-green color makes blue eyes stand out... or brown. black might be too drastic. :)
    green
    maybe pink, or gold

I have green eyes - is baby blue shimmery eyeshadow a no-no?

And if anyone knows, what color of eyes does Miranda from Sex and the City have? On one of the last episodes, where Big comes to ask the girls if he should go find Carrie in Paris, Miranda's makeup is awesome! It's like a light light blue color all around her eyes. I was wondering if I could do that look. Would it look as good on someone with brown hair? It looks great with her hair color. Any suggestions? I just don't like the boring colors that most people recommend for green eyes.I have green eyes - is baby blue shimmery eyeshadow a no-no?
I have green eyes, and i wear ice blue shimmery, but only a little bit. I usually put other colors on there too, i wear gold, which suprisingly looks so cool with shimmery baby blue.

Baby blue shimmery would probably look hot, but in a small amount. It's always fun to expiriment with different colors so you know.I have green eyes - is baby blue shimmery eyeshadow a no-no?
miranda has green eyes. while blue tends to look best on brown eyes, if you apply it correctly, it should look great!
No! i think it will look PERFECT!

What eyeshadow would look good on blue eyes?

I have cobalt blue eyes with dark brown hair. I can never seem to find the right eyeshadow. What's the perfect daytime color? I wear glasses so I want to make my eyes stand out more. What eyeshadow would look good on blue eyes?
i have blue eyes too, and i think the best look is shimmery champagne shadow from lashes to brow bone, almay bronze liner, bit of medium brown in creases, and some light sparkly tan brushed all over to even everything out. good luck. :) i think tan/brown brings out blue eyes best. What eyeshadow would look good on blue eyes?
I'd say a real light blue, but then again it depends what u r wearing. U should go 4 light colors not dark.
Almay has sets of eyeshadow designed specifically for blue, green etc. coloured eyes. I also have blue eyes and i really liked the colours, I do a base of brown which you will notice makes blue really stand out and is nice is subtle for day wear. The brand is nice too because it is hypo-allergenic. My other suggestion would be to go to your local dept. store if they have a MAC (or other brands) counter you can get a free mini-makeover and you might get some really good suggestions. try before you buy. Good Luck and Have fun with it!
stick with the browns and plums if you wear the same colour as your eyes it draws attention away from them.I know this from experience
greys and blues look really good on blue eyes I use he greys when I want to turn my eyes grey and when I want my blues I use a soft blue and on the crease of my eyes a darker blue
because you wear glasses, go for light shades to draw your eyes out.

pastels are great--light yellow under the brow, light pink on the lid and in the crease of your eye and top lid use a light blue/green for your eyes!

    Watch them stand out!
Try subtle blues, browns, and even a nice violet color.

I tell this to everyone looking for the perfect color for them: The Mary Kay Virtual Makeover! It really helps. Choose the model that best matches your skin, hair and eye color and you can see what colors will look nice on you.
    pink
    I have blue eyes.

    - I put a dark brown eye liner on the top of my eye.

    - Then I cover it with a silvery gold-ish brown eyeshadow just over the eyeliner.

    - Then I use a brown with a brush on the outside of the bottom part of the eyelid.

    - Then I use a cream color on the inside of the eyelid.

    - And finally I use a white, (but you have to be careful with white to not get a shinny or silvery white) above the eyelid but under the eye brow.

    - I darken the eye brow just a little.

    - Oh and before I even start I cover the whole eye lid with a skin color power to start with an even tone.
    brown eyeshadows espcially coppery browns
actually Almay made eye colour specific shades a few years back and they are still available. If I remember correctly it was like a medium blue, light blue and a coppery type brown.
light purple,a silver sparkle powder, or a light blue
Browns work best with blue eyes they will certainly bring the best out in your eyes. It acts as a blank canvas enabling the blue to stand out, just as greens would accentuate brown eyes, think about it.
some gold lookin eyeshadow, or some dark looing eyeshadow. to bring out you eye colors, don't use the samn color as your eyes caz it looks boring.
I have blue eyes and what works best for me is a shimmery brown or goldish color, just on the bottom part of the lid, not the whole eye, thats too much.
