What colour eyeshadow for light blue eyes?

I have pale skin, dark brown hair and I usually wear light pink lipgloss, what colour eyeshadow will be good on my eyes? What colour eyeshadow for light blue eyes?
As someone said before, you can use Almay intense i-color, they have a certain kind made esp. for blue eyes. And you CAN use blue eye makeup, as long as you use blues that will build contrast with your eyes. I have light blue eyes, and I've used navy eyeliner and turquoise eyeshadow. For something a little more low-key, a simple lavender eyeshadow will do the trick. All in all, just stay away from pink, green, and too much brown eye makeup, and you'll look good. Yay for blue eyes!!! Also, light pink lipgloss is what I go with too, it look great with dark hair and blue eyes. What colour eyeshadow for light blue eyes?
earth tones are always good for light blue eyes also light pinks would really make your eyes stand out, especially with a pink gloss.

for special occasions or evening try some shades of grey. It is stunning on light blue eyes, just experiment with it before you are going to try the look for an occasion, to make sure you've got it just right. You don't want to end up looking like you have bruised eyes.
purple or green use a eye liner pen on top then do a lil line of the shadow
Try a light blue eyeshadow. I like the Almay intense i-color. They make them coordinate with your particular eye color.

You have classic and beautiful coloring, and the color choices for eye shadow are really endless. If you really want to make your blue eyes pop, I'd go for a warm copper, burnished gold, or rich brown eye shadow. Chocolate is an excellent shade choice for eyeliner. If you go for the eyeliner, making this eye look a little more intense, you might want to wear more of a natural toned lipgloss.

For a great daytime look, I'd suggest using one of these rich colors and brushing on just a sheer hint of it, with a little liner smudged along top lash line. That would probably work well with your pink lipgloss.

If you want to try on these looks, it's easy to upload a photo of yourself to Daily Makeover! It's fun, too! Here's the link:

hi there, well it depends if you want a natural look, or if you want your eyes to really stand out.....natural i would go for beiges, champagne...for your eyes to stand out, i would go with browns, chocolates, bronzes.....the contrast in the browns will make your blue eyes pop!! if you want to be more daring (depending how old you are) you can try like burgundies, raisin colors......but if you are a young teen i dont think i would try that, might look too much for your age....

almay actually makes an eyeshadow trio for all different color eyes i believe the one for blue eyes has a browns and blues....you can get it at any drugstore that carries almay......
actually the opposite usually brings out your eye color. I used a copper color...it blends in and really brings out your eyes...They sell a compacts at every drug store or here '; http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a> that has 3 shades to really bring out your eyes
actually - based on color theory and my own personal experience - the best eye shadow colors for blue eyes are complimentary colors (like what you learned in art class).

Here's more info on complimentary colors: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complementary_color

The short answer is that the complimentary color to your eyes would be the opposite color on the color wheel. The very oposite color of your eyes will make the blue color in your eyes ';pop'; or appear to vibrate.

So - for you any shades that have oranges, reds or yellow undertones would really make your blue eyes more blue. You're not going to wear stright up red eye shadow but you could look for purple eye shadows that have a pink/red undertone to them. Yellow golds, plums, browns that have a slight red or warm undertone. Warm neutrals would work very well for you.

I have blue green eyes. I like to use natural and organic makeup so I tend to stick to Afterglow's eye shadows. They have tons of shades so I have definitely found some favorites that really work my blue/green eyes.

Sage (Afterglow Cosmetics) - it's a golden green so the yellow/gold undertone really does well with my eyes

Diva (Afterglow Cosmetics) - it's a medium pink (so no red but the pink shimmer works really nicely with blue eyes!)

Tempt (Afterglow Cosmetics) - right now my fave. i love love this shade. it's a warm copper penny color with golden undertones and is amazing with blue and green eyes (my sister uses this one too).

Whisper (Afterglow Cosmetics) - is a very subtle khaki neutral with golden undertones

Bloom (Afterglow Cosmetics) - another pink which work really well with blue or green eyes

Velvet (Afterglow Cosmetics) - amazing medium purple shimmer that goes really well with blue or green eyes.

Do a smokey eye with gray tones.
Browns and beiges will bring out the blue in your eyes. Almay makes a line of eye make up called ';Bring out the Blue'; (or brown, green, hazel - what ever eye color you have) and those are good and really enhance your eye color.
Anything with an orange tone... rusty colored looks great!
people say that blue eyemakeup makes blue eyes look blueer- they are wrong! using blue eyemakeup on blue eyes distracts the blue from them, if you want to the emphasize the blueness of eyes brown is the colour to use.
grey would look really nice ;) The almost silvery shimmery grey but still with a dark side. :)
blue
brown or green
silver and earth tones
Stay with the earth tones. You'll look more natural in your beauty. The whites, blues, greens, and purples make you look cheap.
I have blue eyes also, i just use a light light brown or a white for my brow bone (if you use white do it very lightly) then i use brown and i start it in the crease of my eye and i put it on my lid, but the farther i go away from my crease i make it lighter. Then i put eyeliner on the top eyelash line, then i put it on the lower lash line (i have big eyes so i put it like on the lash line in my eye) if you have smaller eyes put it on the outer side of your lower lash line.
Blue Eyes:

As a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

Drugstore Suggestions:

1. Violets and Purples: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers, Trio Eye shadow, Dance Party #125, ~$5.00

2. Gray and Deep Blue: Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow, Sultry Smoke #342, ~$7.00

3. Taupe: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Single Eye Shadow, Tapestry Taupe #760, ~$4.00
